May Days In 2019

May 1st  we find ourselves home in Oklahoma.
The Taj-Mah-Mauler is in her storage, and Big Bertha can take a rest for a while.
She has done her job for a while....rest Bertha!

We get back just in time for the big rains....and rain it did.
I think it broke all records for the amount of rain we had in one month.

Coming from such a dry area, it was a little refreshing to see, but hey, enough is enough!

This month we celebrate Mothers Day, dance recital and graduation from elementary school, and also Cash's redecorating of his room.

It is really nice to be back with the family....sharing all the events.

Mothers Day....it has become quite a challenge to get a good picture of this group.....
Sun was directly in our faces, so this is what we get!
By the way, I love these ladies so very much.

Peonies from the girls that live next door.
They will be moving soon, and I am so going to miss this family.

Dance time, and let me tell you, this girl danced.

She was in 5 dances I think.

Pretty impressive for a young lady that in September had a Traumatic Brain Injury and broken clavicle.
She has quite a spirit and it shows when she is doing what he loves....dancing.

Cooper is moving on to 6th grade next year, and her school had a graduation ceremony for the kids.

It was a really nice celebration.
So very thankful that all these great kids have made it through this last year, and are heading on to bigger and better things.

Before
Cash's room was due for an update.
Heather and Anthony got busy painting and got rid of all the Super Hero motif.
After

One morning I went down and we began shopping for some items to make his room extra special.

Cash had one request
....he wanted a globe....LOL.....and we found one.
You can see by his smile that he was quite happy with how it turned out.

My wonderful Oklahoma Cactus displayed its colors this month as well.
Seems like it was a little later than usual, but anytime this baby decides to bloom, I am happy.
